Sound Track Research
For our film we are planning to get one of our friends to help create our soundtrack, as this way we can have control over the music in our film and have it perfectly the way we want. The composer will be able to adjust the music to suit the scene, make in more intense at the right moments and to give the audience a better experience. This will be helpful in making the film look as professional and as neat as possible. Despite this, I will look at a soundtracks from a similar films so that our composer can have some sort of an idea of what it should sound like, and so that we can get the feel for our film very early on.We would like something that is tailored to the visuals so it doesn't over power or outshines what is happening on screen but instead supports the action in he film.
My group is doing an action film, it is conventional for action films to use an orchestra or some sort of eletronic music to play on the emotions of the audiance. The Orcestrial music is normally used to creat tention and build anticipation with in the audiance. The eltronic music is used in action films to get the audiance excited normally used when in a chase or after a fight scene.
This is an example of an Orcestrial sound track to build tention and anticipation in the audiance:

My group might be using something quite similar to this to get our to play on the emotion of out audianceand to get them intrested and thinking about what may happen to the spy and what is he doing at the begining as he is getting of the train and walking around.
This is an example of eletronic music being used in a film to get the ausdiance excited and more interested:
The sound track usedin the opening title of Blitz is very high pase exciting music this might be used in our film during the chase scene and after the antagonist kills the protagopnist spy. We willdo this to it highents the emotion of the audiance and get there adrenaline pumping.
